Our client is a leading, highly respected Pension Fund Administrator that has built a culture of excellence and efficient service delivery in its business domain.
To build on its success and pedigree, we are currently seeking an excellent, highly experienced Executive who will work collaboratively with the MD/CEO to lead the business forward and provide direction and guidance for the organisation’s corporate services by ensuring efficient back-office operations, and provision of optimal support and control to front and middle office functions.
Responsibilities
1. Provide strategic direction and guidance for the organisation’s Corporate Services.
2. Oversee the Human Resources function and develop HR strategies and service delivery models.
3. Manage the company’s organizational arrangement and recommend changes/improvements to EXCO as appropriate.
4. Oversee the procurement and facilities management processes and systems.
5. Oversee the financial and accounting operations of the organisation and ensure accountability, integrity and transparency of the financial management systems.
6. Oversee the risk management function and ensure adequacy of risk management systems for controlling and managing market & counterparty risks.
7. Ensure the organisation’s services and internal processes meet defined standards and quality.
8. Vet and approve divisional policies, procedures, controls and major operational decisions.
9. Vet and approve divisional budgets and expenses.
10. Vet and approve training plans and performance appraisals within the organisation.
11. Ensure that the organisation’s IT strategies and policies are being implemented.
12. Ensure continuous availability and effectiveness of business applications and technology infrastructure.
13. Carry out other duties assigned by the Managing Director/CEO.
Essential Experience
1. Must be a member of any of the following recognized professional bodies namely: CIPM, CIA, ICAN, ACCA, ICMN, ICE, NIM, IT Certifications (OCP, MCDBA, MCSE, CCNP, CCIE) etc. An MBA is an added advantage.
2. Minimum of First degree or its equivalent in a numerate or semi-numerate discipline such as actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, accounting, economics, banking, finance, insurance, law and business studies.
3. Minimum of 18 years post qualification experience of which at least 13 must have been in the Financial Services Sector and 7 years of Top/Senior Management Experience.
